“A wonderful house that corresponds to the description. The owners of the house are very friendly people and they have a wonderful dog Branko with whom we made great friends. Nearby is the castle of Mont Saint Michel and a little further the Etretat rock. The house is very clean. There is a mini fireplace outside, which was great in the evening after a busy day to drink a glass of wine next to the flame on very comfortable chairs. The hosts greeted us upon arrival, which was very pleasing. I will recommend this house to friends for a trip to Normandy!”

We would love to return! Nature, peace & space: 5 /5 This nature cottage is located on the edge of the village of Bellefontaine and is surrounded by nature, pastures, meadows, and trees. When the weather is nice, the terrace is perfect for enjoying breakfast outdoors, overlooking peacefully grazing sheep and a few houses on the opposite properties. One of these houses contains a bakery where, among other things, delicious homemade sourdough bread can be ordered and purchased. Supermarkets are easily accessible by car in the immediate vicinity. We also used the car for day trips. The area is also excellent for hiking, and our incredibly friendly and helpful hosts have put together a variety of hiking routes for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the expansive views at any time of day.”

“We slept here for one night because we were passing through, but what a wonderful stay we had! The owners are incredibly friendly and the dog is super sweet too. The cottage is fully equipped with all amenities, and they even thought of providing fresh eggs from their own chickens. They were delicious, thank you! 🥚😊 The cottage is situated in beautiful, rural surroundings and is the perfect place if you are looking for peace and relaxation. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would definitely recommend this accommodation! Even though we were only there for one night, we found our stay very pleasant. We would have loved to stay a little longer! If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!”

“We had a very pleasant stay. The gîte is situated in the middle of nature in a quiet location. For those who love peace and experiencing nature, this is a lovely place. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and the magnificent starry sky every evening. The gîte has recently been tastefully renovated, while preserving a number of authentic elements. The kitchen is fully equipped and has every convenience. The bedroom is spacious and has a good bed. During warm days, we slept with the windows open, which cooled things down wonderfully. The bathroom is compact but practically furnished. The owners live in the same house, but we experienced plenty of privacy. They are friendly and helpful. We would love to return next year and can certainly recommend this gîte.”

Despite the language barrier, communication remained excellent thanks to their kindness. During our weekend, my partner had a minor accident, and René drove us to the emergency room of the hospital, located over 20 km away, and waited for nearly three hours in the waiting room.
