“We had a very pleasant stay. The gîte is situated in the middle of nature in a quiet location. For those who love peace and experiencing nature, this is a lovely place. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and the magnificent starry sky every evening. The gîte has recently been tastefully renovated, while preserving a number of authentic elements. The kitchen is fully equipped and has every convenience. The bedroom is spacious and has a good bed. During warm days, we slept with the windows open, which cooled things down wonderfully. The bathroom is compact but practically furnished. The owners live in the same house, but we experienced plenty of privacy. They are friendly and helpful. We would love to return next year and can certainly recommend this gîte.”

“My partner and I were delighted with our stay at this place. We were welcomed by very pleasant and kind people. The hosts were very attentive and answered all our questions. Despite the language barrier, communication remained excellent thanks to their kindness. During our weekend, my partner had a minor accident, and René drove us to the emergency room of the hospital, located over 20 km away, and waited for nearly three hours in the waiting room. I am extremely grateful to him. Let's not forget our special guest: Branco, a White Swiss Shepherd of unparalleled gentleness. A big thank you to Yvonne and René. We will most certainly repeat the experience on our next visit!”

In 2024, we moved from the Netherlands to Normandy. Here, we enjoy the outdoor life with our sheep, chickens, and our dog Branco, and try to grow as much of our own vegetables as possible. We love a good meal with a French wine. A quiet existence in nature, which we hope our guests will appreciate as well. See you soon, Yvonne & René
